Accessibility
StoryOS is built to be usable by everyone. This page describes what we've done so far, where we know we still fall short, and how to tell us when something isn't working.
What we target
We design toward WCAG 2.2 AA. That means semantic HTML, visible keyboard focus, sensible heading order, colour contrast that clears the minimums, motion that can be reduced, and touch targets that reach 44×44px on mobile.
What we've done
The public site is fully keyboard-navigable. Every image has alt text or is marked decorative. The language switcher is a real button with an accessible name. The mobile menu traps focus and can be closed with Escape. Reduced-motion preferences are honoured across every animated component we ship.
Where we know we fall short
The Experience Score™ radar is a decorative visualization; its numerical readout is shown separately for screen readers. We are still improving screen-reader coverage on some destination pages, and long-form journal articles have not yet been audited by a specialist.
Tell us
If a page is unusable for you — or nearly so — please write. We treat every accessibility note as urgent, and we will get back to you with what we can fix and when.
