Privacy
When your Memory Layer opens, it will be yours alone.
It will be encrypted at rest, never sold, and exportable at any time. Import from Photos, Music and Calendar will be opt-in per source, per day; nothing enters your archive unless you place it there.

- Is my archive live today?
- The Memory Layer is a concept preview — an illustrative view of what a StoryOS archive will feel like. It opens for early-access travelers alongside the Istanbul launch.
- What can I put in it?
- Photographs, playlists, notes, screenshots, receipts if you like — everything indexed against the neighborhood-hour block it belongs to, without you having to tag anything.
- Who else can see it?
- No one, unless you share a chapter yourself. Even our team can't read into a Memory Layer without a support request you initiate and can revoke.
- Can I take it with me?
- Yes. Full export in an open, machine-readable format is a first-class feature — StoryOS should never be the reason you can't leave.
